pick fights that are good for the country, that are winnable.
This is typical mealy mouthed GOPe logic. They are never willing to take a stand on principle. No, they must be assured of victory before entering the fray.
Good thing George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and FDR didn't require an assurance of victory before engaging the enemy.
The difference is between being a Leader and being a Politician. Leaders are propelled by conviction, politicians are propelled by polls.

Graham added that the GOP should pick fights that are good for the country, that are winnable. Isn't that basically the same fuzzy logic used by German politicians which led to Hitler's rise to power?

It’s Ok for democrats to sink a GOP nominee like Robert Bork. But it’s not Ok for GOP members to sink a nominee like Loretta Lynch.

Darksheare, you mentioned something about lipstick :)
Graham, like Cruz, is a member of the Judiciary Committee. Both are considering running for the GOP presidential nomination.
The BIG difference between linda and Ted... Ted stands a good chance of succeeding.
linda is "considering" a run to boost Jeb Bush's chances in the SC Primary. Don't kid yourself. The "favorite son" graciously drops out, urging his supporters to throw their weight behind Bush.

Lindsey Graham is a prize-winning POS.
I saw him on TV last night; the subject was Muslim jihad training camps seeded around the U.S. There’s one down the road from me in Red House, VA. It’s common knowledge these things exist. The FBI knows about them, documentaries have been made about them, and “Fox & Friends” featured a story recently.
Graham’s result when asked about them: “It’s news to me. No one told me about them.”
I can’t tell you what I screamed at the TV. And please excuse the temporary thread hijack.

That’s great, Tippie-toes. An unqualified Senator like you bloviating about whether a radical, Marxist attorney general nominee is qualified.
