There is no doubt in my mind there are people who need it but don’t get it because they’re honest. But I’d bet there are more people who get it because they lie. This little scam will add to the list.
Maybe it’s time to start trying to cash in while there’s something left to take. Of course, if I tried it I’d get caught. Wrong color and I speak English.
There are probably some who say “I’ll leave office and go home” and they’re told “If you leave and take away our sure vote we’ll ruin you anyway.”

Anyone needing free food from the government already knows it’s there for the taking. It’s not like this is a brand new welfare or giveaway program requiring more publicity.
Once you've made it to office in DC, you're set for life. Those voted out immediately rotate into lobbying, law, think tanks, investment firms, and other influence peddling.
The infuriating part is the constant commercials that 1 in 6 Americans experiences “food insecurity”.
With $100+ bucks per month per person in food stamps and the kiddies getting free bk and lunch @ la escuela.
My suburban county has 27 different food banks.

Last summer a D state legislator in VA resigned; his seat was filled by a R in a special election, turning control of the chamber over to the Rs. Doncha know, only this past week he was cleared in the investigation the Ds had our state AG’s office conduct.
