This isn’t directed at Cruz specifically, but I abhor when politicians use superlatives and hyperbole to discuss matters of opinion and weight on political issues. You just make yourself look a fool.
Senator Cruz said that
the most compelling civil rights issue of the 21st century is the the need to expand school choice and educational options so that every child, regardless of race ... has a fair opportunity to receive an excellent education.
Cruz uses strong language to get attention. We need to address what social justice really is, giving everyone the best opportunity, not following the example of the past fifty years, which was race pimping and building dependency on government and the taxpayer.
