I thought that was a really good debate. Graham isn’t the heavyweight he thinks he is. Bright and Cash were clearly the best.

Lindsey was so arrogant & smug:

“I’m the consummate Washington insider who knows how to make deals & get things done. The rest of you are rank amateurs.”

“Oh, and I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll scare the bejesus out of Obama next time he pulls one of these Taliban swaps, because I’m the red hot Reaganite conservative those liberals fear the most!”

FWIW I’m voting either for Lee Bright or Bill Connor next Tuesday.

The Mrs. and I still plan to vote for Richard Cash, Tuesday June 10th, but have no idea what his Statewide strength might be. We’re just voting our consciences, since it’s important Tuesday only that we vote for a candidate other than Lindsey Graham and hope he receives a lot less than 50%.

Cash looks the most serious to me. Mace? Not ready but she should aim lower-like a house seat. Bright? Not bad but overweight. That counts.

They all had some good moments...I wish they would have had more pointed attacks at Graham...loved the comment at the end..”Senator Graham, will you now repudiate your statement that Hillary Clinton is the greatest SecState ever in your lifetime!!

Bright repeated everything Cash said in different words. He was not fluent or comfortable. Few original points.

Senator Lee Bright seemed angry. Good!, I want someone to represent me that is as angry as I am at the B.S. going on in our Federal government today.

Lee bright was also the only candidate who spoke of uniting the vote behind any candidate after the primary should Graham not reach 50%.

I pray that in my lifetime I will live to see a Republican/conservative debate moderated and paneled by at least one conservative. Every question posed was straight out of the liberal paradigm. "what are you going to give voters?", "what are you going to take away?" "Why are you republicans so mean?" Etc.................

I watched it with the Aiken County Tea Party.

linda was VERY unimpressive. Sounded like the insider he is.

Everybody roared with laughter when he said, paraphrase, “I’m going to beat the Democrats brains out.”

The other candidates did a good job on pounding linda on the poor voting choices she’s made.

And, except for one comment from Mace, they did a good job of sticking together, not bickering among themselves and firing at linda every chance they got.

Cash, Connor, Bright, that’s my tossup for Tues.

I’m watching the Debate now. Graham is an arrogant a**. That Mace chick is doing a terrible job. She has to keep looking at her notes and stammering.

DAMN!! Get that Mace chick off of the freakin’ Debate Stage. She is NOT the sharpest knife in the drawer. I’m embarrassed for her. Cash and Dunn are doing great. Bright, Connor and Bowers are doing good. Graham is acting like he will win outright on Tuesday.

Since you are a South Carolinian, what do you think? Will there be a run-off?

I finished watching the Debate online. My Top 3 Picks:

1. Connor

2. Cash

3. Bright

In if I lived in SC, I’d vote for Connor

I honestly don’t know. It’ll be razor thin either way.

But if it’s Lindsey again in November, I will vote against him, again.

With seven people on stage, and each getting the same amount of overall time, it was very hard to stand out or say something original, particularly if you spoke near the end rather than at the beginning.

Lee Bright more than held his own, fluently and comfortably, even with being near the last to speak. I didn't hear anyone else point out that Lindsey appeared before LaRaza and called S.C. conservatives bigots.

I hope that LG is held below 50% on Tuesday. Bright, Cash or Connor can win a run-off. May the best man win.

That Mace chick is doing a terrible job.

She was not at her best Saturday evening, for sure. But calling Nancy Mace a "chick" reveals your lack of information (knowledge), not hers.
