They still have to meet the instate residency requirements just like anyone else.

Huckabee isn’t talking about letting illegals who currently live in California attend Arkansas schools on in-state tuition.

But if the illegals have lived in Arkansas for the required period (usually 4 years) then to make them pay higher tuition than other people who lived in state is oppression.

It isn't 'oppressing' illegals because their presence in the state (for more than 4 years) is illegal.

Which part of the word illegal is so hard for everyone to understand? There are colleges in Mexico, it’s not deepest, darkest Africa. It’s part of North America, just like Canada and the United States.

With what little respect is due to the Huckster, isn't punishing a kid who moved in to Arkansas from, say, Wisconsin by charging them out of state tuition doing the same thing? After all, how was it their fault that their parents lived in Wisconsin?
