I hit the wrong button. I had meant to reply here.

I don’t know why you want to argue about this. I don’t know anything about it other than what is reported in the news and that’s why I said it’s just my theory and included no info except links to news articles.

I don’t know if the rebels could have launched the attack on their own. But many articles cite the blocking of UN inspectors as evidence of government guilt. my theory attempt to explain how the rebels could be guilty and why the government would still have blocked the inspectors. It also would explain the panicked phone call.

if you are suggesting that no one should post their ideas or comments unless they have actual knowledge of the situation on the ground then there would be very few comments on FR.

I suggested no such thing. This is an open forum. Post what what you will.
As far as what you hear in the news, I would not put much stock in it.
The “news” said an attack was coming very soon. That did not happen.

The “news” said NSA was not spying on domestic citizens.
However, James Clapper, head of NSA got caught lying to congress
and the American people.
Even if Assad delayed the inspectors for 3 or 4 days, what difference does
that make? Sarin gas hangs around for up to 2 years(according to the news), as you put it.

Maybe Assasd delayed the inspectors entry into the site until he could
confirm they were legitimate inspectors, instead of spy’s. show me hard
evidence. I no longer take the word of our intel agencies or politicians.
