Something is strange about her withdrawal. I was getting fundraising emails several times per week before she dropped out. She may have not liked her prospects.

Well she can give her campaign funds to other campaigns as I understand it. And her fundraising emails were probably going out largely on “automatic pilot” following a long-term plan.
He does not get the funds personally.
