Saying we’re going to do this with a third party is like expecting luke and han to take out the death star by building one of their own. In two years. With the empire blasting away at them. It takes time to build a death star. Our only hope (humanly speaking) is a determined infiltration of existing infrastructure. I wish it were different, but we’ve got a country to win back, and we have no time for losing strategies. Sun Tzu would not approve.

There are a fair number of places where Republicans are doing well at the state level.
Here in Indiana is a good example, supermajority in both branches of the legislature, governor, sec of st, etc held by Republicans.
No way in my lifetime (20 yrs?) can we throw that away and have any success.

Amen to that...of all the things I like about Palin, and there are many, the one I like the most is going after the “crony capitalists.” It encompasses all those in both parties who are a cancer on the body politic.
And with the same ad team making her ads, the team that made these awesome sarahpac ads, how can Sarah lose? we the freedom loving southerners hope that she runs

The terms for it are many, but the concept is that the graft and corruption in both parties must be stopped, for the good of the Republic.
Some are worse than others, but the worst are those who claim honesty and practice the opposite. There is no difference in party affiliation when it comes to dishonesty.
I agree with that, but the terms our side uses must not be that of the left. Have you heard anyone lately accuse Obama of crony socialism? Nope. Has not happened.
There has been no cronyism any more egregious than that of the Obama administration. And that ain’t capitalism.

I understand what you are saying, and I agree. However, there are “capitalists” that are quite awful. I’m not the scholar that can sight inside the beltway examples, but I guess the banking system that has either caused or benefited by destructive policies, which have received the largess from the public trough, are the “capitals” which I have in my mind.
Others may dispute with me the meaning of capitalist, and that is fine.
However, it is my feeling that conservatives must clean their own house before the crocked neighbors with the stolen jewelry in the basement.
That is what Sarah Palin was doing in Alaska, and why I support her. She is not afraid to clean out the corruption wherever it lives.
We should start with the Attorney General’s office, then the entire national mechanisms for elections, then, take your pick.
I think we’re on the same page, but if another term for corruption of either party is more illustrative, I’m in.
