The very words “tea party” were not even allowed to be uttered at the GOP convention, Palin was basically told to “get lost,” and state delegate rules were changed to kneecap the grassroots. That’s all I need to know about where the the GOP-establishment stands.
I trust Rove about as much as I trust Obama.

If enough conservatives would actually get involved we could obtain power in the party and change it to suit our cause. If the GOPe don't like that, if raw power is all they crave, then they can join the Democrats, and truthfully they probably will.
All that is necessary for liberalism to triumph is for conservatives to do nothing.
