The Republican Party can either have Liberal Losers like Rove, or the Conservative Grass Roots like me.

The best thing Rove could do is drop out of the political scene, and find something useful to do with his life. He can’t undo all the damage he has done, but making himself scarce would be a good start.

If conservatives ever stand a chance of taking over the Republican party, the likes of Rove and his peers must be disappeared. The GOP-e have a stranglehold on the GOP in the same manner the commies have taken over the RAT party. Between the two parties in America, they both have shifted in unison to the left. I grew up in the 1940s and my uncle was a US Rep from MN - he would be rolling over in his grave if he could see the landscape today, and he would not “serve”.

The outrageous of that was grossly underplayed at the time and almost forgotten now.

State delegate rules were changed to kneecap the grassroots.

This is why I have been advocating massive and dedicated conservative involvement in the Republican Party for awhile now. It is the best means I can see at both taking over the GOP and preventing an indefinite Democrat rule at the federal and eventually the state level. Too many on our side are still unwilling to do much more than vote and maybe donate money for campaigns. That simply isn’t cutting it. We need to be involved in the party system at all times.

Tokyo Rove is a loser.

Won 2000 by 535 votes and a court challenge.

Won 2004 by 12,000 votes in one state,Ohio.

Lost the 2006 mid-terms.

Lost 2008.

Fought against Tea Party candidates in 2010.

Lost 2012.

Some architect. More like a wrecking ball.

Loser.

If enough conservatives would actually get involved we could obtain power in the party and change it to suit our cause. If the GOPe don't like that, if raw power is all they crave, then they can join the Democrats, and truthfully they probably will.

All that is necessary for liberalism to triumph is for conservatives to do nothing.

I am coming to the same conclusion. The GOPe would rather a Democrat win than a conservative. DeeDee Scozzafava comes to mind.

This reminds me of a scene in “Mars Attacks” where the martians are running through the streets zapping everyone around and one of them is carrying the translator machine saying, “We come in peace!”
