New party or CWII.
It’s that simple. Blood simple.
“Rasmussen Polling
Friday, November 07, 2008
Sixty-nine percent (69%) of Republican voters say Alaska Governor Sarah Palin helped John McCains bid for the presidency, even as news reports surface that some McCain staffers think she was a liability.
Only 20% of GOP voters say Palin hurt the partys ticket, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Six percent (6%) say she had no impact, and five percent (5%) are undecided.
Ninety-one percent (91%) of Republicans have a favorable view of Palin, including 65% who say their view is Very Favorable. Only eight percent (8%) have an unfavorable view of her, including three percent (3%) Very Unfavorable.
When asked to choose among some of the GOPs top names for their choice for the partys 2012 presidential nominee, 64% say Palin. The next closest contenders are two former governors and unsuccessful challengers for the presidential nomination this year — Mike Huckabee of Arkansas with 12% support and Mitt Romney of Massachusetts with 11%.
Three other sitting governors Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, Charlie Crist of Florida and Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota all pull low single-digit support.
These findings echo a survey earlier this week which found that Republicans were happier with their vice presidential candidate than with their presidential nominee. Seventy-one percent (71%) said McCain made the right choice by picking Palin as his running mate, while only 65% said the party picked the right nominee for president.”
Spot on. This is why I’m done with the Republican Party.
Palin is alive and well, the question for the Romney people is, will we go "negative" on Romney?
Personally I would prefer to strengthen and reinforce Palin's influence, and weaken Romney's.
Me too...no more GOP...they are part of the kubuki theater the politicians and the media run every two years. We have a one party system with two wings...I know this is not new criticism...but never has it been more obvious.
I blame some people for Romney’s nomination...Karl Rove, The National Review, The Weekly Standard...Ann Courlter...the list goes on.
Romney is and always has been just another liberal. But for his Republican birth, he would have become a Democrat. How different is he...from say...John Kerry? Not much.
How did the GOP nominate a Massachusetts liberals to run against a Marxist? They needed to find someone with a clear difference...instead, as Barry Goldwater would say...we got an echo.
Enough.
They’re like that team that always plays the Harlem Globetrotters.
As long as PhonyCon Liberals keep pushing Amnesty Liberals like Marco “La Raza” Rubio, and keep pushing the Hispanic Voter Myth, candidates like Palin and others will keep getting the shaft. The GOP cannot win national and key statewide elections by abandoning the Real Conservative Base
I thought Nancy Sinatra did that, back in the 60’s?
Me too. I've been away from home and i am looking forward to a call from the GOP fund-raising people. I have some choice words as to what they can do with their telephone.
Both my wife and I changed our affiliation to “Not Affiliated”. We have joined that great sea of “independent” voters. Will the pollsters beat a path to our phone and door next election. Time will tell. All Republican mail will be circularly filed.
In 2008, Romney’s surrogates destroyed Gov. Palin
for Obama and Soros.
In 2012, Romney and his Mormon company and team destroyed
every conservative left for Obama and Soros.
Soros ishas been Romney’s partner from the beginning
in JET BLUE and in this.
The GOP is composed of idiots who wanted to lose to the DNC.
This is a very plausible point of view.
Bump
Is that the whine now? There was never any indication she would run. You had over a year to make your decision. That you waited for Palin is your own fault, and you should own up to that.
Romney screwed us, the donors, the nation, all of us.
I’m livid.

It is merely my observation from afar. That Palin took so long to announce that she was not going to run meant that her many supporters ( and she knew of their existence) did not organize around another candidate.
It's not a whine. It's an observation.
