If carbonite can handle all my files and folders, why can't some agency tap into (and control) everything we, or agencies, do on internet connected computers?
Could it be that the election results were tampered with?
It's those new electronic voting machines. Sure, they were all "certified" before the election as working properly.
But three points:
1. In the last year, numerous computer experts have shown how very easy it is to tamper with these machines.
2. A machine can go "out of calibration." When that happens, a vote for one candidate is recorded as a vote for another. Calibration errors are thought to be quite rare, but who knows? 3. These machines do not generate a backup paper trail. So in suspicious cases there is no way to do a hand recount.
I'm not buying into any conspiracy at this point, because not a shred of evidence has surfaced. But I still don't like the whole electronic idea. As you said, it's too easy to manipulate things.
“I woke up this morning wondering how what happened, happened. Then, having recently renewed my Carbonite subscription”
that’s the same carbonite that had pulled the ads from RUSH and still advertising on NPR? maybe you can save some money and invest in a different backup solution.
