THis is absurd. I doubt Romney’s team is upset. Christie is a republican governor of a state that was devastated by a hurricane.

If Christie left his state to go to a Romney campaign event, EVERY national news story would be about how Romney/Christie were abandoning suffering people for politics.

There is no way a Christie appearance at a campaign event would NOT be used by the media as an attack on Romney.

Very true. Christie takes a lot of media grief and handles
it well. But if he leaves his post now he will regret it later.
Smart move for him if it is true. He is not needed anyway.

at last someone gets it. being governor means being above politics sometimes, like during disasters. he knows that O
will let politics affect FEMA resource allocation and he doesn’t want his constituents to suffer because of grandstanding.
