My local abc anchor (Rick Williams) even said 'government employer added 171k jobs, but unempolyment rate still up for 7.9%). I watched and rewinded three times just to make sure I got that right.

It's a touch one for the right, as we do see job gains. In reality it is just ONE month, and one month does not a trend make. Sadly though the Obama campaign and the media will try to make all they can out of it. The question is are moderate voters dumb enough to fall for it? Reminds me of my wife who is a cup half full person, while I am a cup half empty person. If something costs $7.90 she rounds it DOWN to $7, while I round it up to $8. If moderates have a positive outlook like her, 7.9 is like 7.

They would be semi relevant again and have slightly livable ratings unlike their negligible ones now.
