Its really hard to say what’s real with the instate polls.
During the primaries, the polling showed Stabenow up about 10 points over the divided field so its a little hard to believe it would be as wide as this poll says. I can’t really see Romney votes also voting for Stabenow.
I supported Clark Durant in the primary but have no problem with Hoekstra. He’s a good man with considerable intelligence experience. He was in Israel talking to some high ranking folks a couple weeks back which sent the democrats off the rails.

Hoekstra hasn't done anything here in his campaign. That's the problem. This is Bouchard 2006 all over again. It's extremely frustrating.
