Once a catholic decides to ditch some of the most sacred tenets of the Church; such as the sanctity of life; Once one has become comfortable with the very concept of slaughtering millions of innocent babies in the womb, to the point that they will campaign and legislate for the right to practice it; At that point, a penny-ante thing like lying about your opponent’s intentions, or promoting legislation that will curtail American freedoms or create death panels for seniors, doesn’t cause even a nanosecond’s twinge of conscience.

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron”....
Our loving Creator and Savior gave each of us an onboard “early warning system” if you will. It gives us a twinge of unease or discomfort when and if we say or do something which is edging upon some dangerous immorality which we should avoid.
Just think what a dangerous and regrettable condition one has slowly lowered themself into when their conscience becomes so calloused and hardened that those cautions and twinges are no longer even felt!
