The Constitution Party has abandoned its bid to get its presidential ticket on Pennsylvania's election ballot.
James Clymer, the longtime chairman of the state Constitution Party and the national party's 2012 candidate for vice president, said Tuesday that the party agreed to withdraw its petition amid a court challenge backed by the state Republican Party.
Clymer acknowledged that many of the thousands of signatures were invalidated during two days of review...

Sounds like a little chicanery was going on.
Obama goes for closed court records ~ he did that repeatedly to get rid of his competition.
What we need to do is ELIMINATE the nominating petition problem and just open up the ballots to whoever can pay the fee.
Frankly, I"m not afraid of long ballots. First election I Voted in in Indiana had us chose 25 from a list of over 50 people for the House in the General Assembly, and a good 20 from a long list for the Senate.
Europeans simplify this into party list voting ~ but you still have to check out all the doufouses running under each party's label anyway.
If you're smart enough to get a picture voter ID you're smart enough to chose your candidates.
PA Ping!
If you want on/off the PA Ping List, please freepmail me. Thanks!
The Constitution Party of Pennsylvania is a joke.
This continuous nomination of Clymer is evidence that they are a one-trick pony.
These small parties need to learn that they are more than just one man if they wish to be taken seriously.
Sounds like Clymer was too stupid to pull off his fraud. Maybe next time.
First some context: The GOP-E has been lodging complaints and filing lawsuits against the Libertarian and Constitution Parties in all the states, trying to knock them off the November ballots, which is a hallmark Obama/Axelrod tactic that it has adopted. Disgusting!
Next: I exchanged some angry emails with the Goode campaign about giving up in Pennsylvania, and found that it is nothing but a spineless, defeatist bunch of losers unwilling to fight for anything. The Constitution Party will never amount to a hill of beans, based on what its senior officials told me earlier in the week when I was beseeching them to fight for PA.
Soooo...we pretty much have NO alternative to the crooked, corrupt, GOP-E, unless we make one ourselves.
Consequently, I'll be writing in Sarah Palin's name in November, since I absolutely refuse to vote for Romney.
So getting rid of the Obama disaster and what a second term would entail isn’t a high priority for you, even though you live in a swing state?
I see very little difference between Obama and his enabler Romney.
I vehemently disagree with you: Do you actually think Mitt Romney hates this country? Barack Obama does! Do you think Mitt Romney detests capitalism, the same capitalism that earned him $300 Million or more? Barack Obama does! Do you believe that Mitt Romney would stop Israel from defending itself or stand aside while Israel is destroyed? Barack Hussein Obama would! Do you think that Mitt Romney would raise taxes and impose more red tape and restrictions on job creators, thus stalling the economy? Barack Obama already has. Do you feel that Mitt Romney wants to destroy the oil, coal and gas industries in the USA, thus putting us in the thrall of Islamic potentates who wish us to become Muslims? Barack Hussein Obama is well on the way to doing so. I could go on for hours, FRiend. I’ve never had any love for Governor Romney, but when the choice comes down to either him or Barack Hussein Obama, a man dead-set on destroying my country, the country of my birth and whose uniform I proudly wore, there is no contest. And that is the choice. No third party or write-in candidate is going to be sworn in next January. As a disabled veteran, I humbly request that you prayerfully consider and reconsider your position vis a vis the coming election and do what reason and faith tells you is the right thing for the United States of America. Thank you.
Period.
Never forget that Team Romney was behind THIS:
And I think that Mitt Romney loves himself more than he loves his country.
