A friend of the family knows LePage pretty well. Says that he's the real deal.

The only “problem” with LePage is that he is blunt. That offends certain people with delicate sensibilities. He’s doing good things but Maine is very much a welfare state. He’ll probably be replaced next time by another nanny stater.
