Good grief stop with the "they are desperate" thing. Every time the left or MSM attack one of our people, even the most unpopular among them, folks claim "they are desperate". As if the media is sitting around shaking in their boots, worrying about Sarah Palin. They aren't.

The leftists and their media lackey's are just nasty and detest Palin along with pretty much any prominent conservative. They'd write nasty stuff about Palin whether she was about to win an election, or to lose one in spectacular fashion. They just hate her, they consider her and all of us neanderthals standing in the way of "progress" and their efforts to perfect mankind.
