GOP “success” factors will be their eventual downfall (barf alert)

GOP “success” factors will be their eventual downfall

Saturday, November 27, 2010

Thanksgiving Day table conversation got a little heated, particularly when my college-age cousin persisted in saying nice things about Sarah Palin – which got her mother, aunt and grandmother all worked up about what a “disaster” it would be if that woman ever got elected to a position of significance.

Personally, I think my cousin was just trying to stir up an argument for kicks, which is why I didn’t feel compelled to join in. I really don’t feel threatened by Palin, or any of these new people who managed to get themselves elected earlier this month and are now claiming they’re going to undo the accomplishments of the past two years.

IN FACT, I stumbled across a story published Friday by the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper that further reinforced my gut feeling that these kinds of people who are pushing conservative ideological beliefs as some sort of revolution are going to be the undoing of the GOP, and will ensure for the long run that people with sense prevail.

Gee, I guess it's all over for "these kinds of people", as Mr. Tejeda refers to conservatives. ------------------------

"Which puts those conservative ideologues who persist in turning the Republican Party into a mirror image of themselves on a path to their own destruction. Without a change on their part, the Republican Party that once represented the ideals of Abraham Lincoln but now seems more interested in touting Ronald Reagan above all else is going to become the party of the past."

It is so funny watching all these feminazis, who for years whined about not having enough broads in government, actively work to shoot down a woman who has real shot at becoming president.

So there we have the template. Their strategy is now in plain sight with now several articles of analysis with the same MO.

Sorry fellas (MSM, DBM and EPs), we are obviously not as stupid as you look right now as we have no problem picking out Mr. Shinola in a crowd of Mr. S#!tz.

EPs = Establishment Polliticians. I think we should really start to label people like Rove, et al, with this identifier. Life is much easier with readily identifiable acronyms.

I asked my son, who is a screaming liberal (he believes Bush paid for 9/11), why he did not like Sarah Palin. It took me 20 minutes of constantly asking him the same question before he finally would answer it. His answer was all she knows is God and guns.

Good morning.

I like articles like these. It shows that these liberals/progressives/democRATs/communists just don't get it. If you don't know the enemy, you can't win the war.

Tell your son that that’s all he needs to know about Sarah to vote for her! He’s boiled it down to it’s simplest form......

This was after he had spent 20 minutes screaming about how bad Obama was. He had originally voted for Wesley Clark in the primaries. But he is very upset with what Obama is doing and has done. On and on about how bad Obama was.

After the Sarah question got answered I asked him if she were to run against Obama in 2012 would he vote for her or Obama? The answer was Obama. When I reminded him that he had no respect for Obama he said Obama was still better than Sarah.

In the words of Hannity, Unbelievable.

I’m sorry-——but I learned a long time ago that there’s just no accounting for some things. Could be that he’s only pulling your chain, and when he’s in the voting booth, he’s pulling the right levers. Some folks are just born to argue for the sake of arguing-—they think it’s a sport!

With God's help, and with a lot of work on our part, our children will never set foot in a government school once they are at the age to attend school.

If it makes them feel better to say this, let them. It doesn’t make it true.
