Just how important was last week’s election? Well, a list of the damage includes Republicans picking up at least 63 seats in the House of Representatives, more than in any election since 1938, leaving Democrats with the smallest number in the House since 1946. Fifty incumbent Democratic congressmen lost their races, including 22 freshmen, nine senior Democrats with 18 years or more in office, and three committee chairs.

Republicans also gained six seats in the US Senate, narrowing the Democrat majority.

The North Carolina General Assembly went Republican for the first time since 1870, and the Alabama Legislature turned Republican for the first time since 1876.

The Maine and Minnesota Senates flipped to Republicans, and the Texas and Tennessee Houses went from virtually tied to large Republican gains.

I think they are tone deaf. This is caused by a hard heart, stubbornness to the point of idiocy, totally self absorbed person(it’s all about me, me, me) and a lack of wisdom.

This is just the media projecting the mental illness of the "tone-deaf trifecta" (obama, pelosi, reid) onto the rest of Washington.

Washington knows full well what has it them. If not, why do we have such really dumb people working there?

"Tone-deaf" is not a proper description for the democrats reaction to the election. "Arrogant denial" is probably the best terminology for their hubris.

They know...they know...don't let the bastards wear you down.

2012 should pick up more in the House many more Senators and a Republican President.. PLUS a far larger array in most State Capitals... adding more Governors..

By then the TPCaucus will be even stronger and deeper in scope..
Forcing republican primarys to be very interesting..
Especially the Presidential primary..
