Completely agree with you. The market ‘miraculously’ turns just 1.5 pts shy of being down 1000. This reversing action had to be the ‘invisible hand’ of the PPT. Allowing the DOW to hit the 1000 mark would have have a very damaging psychological, if not political, effect.

Not only do I believe that, but I believe it is being financed by the $700 Billion of unallocated TARP funds.
