We need to get rid of Steele—and replace him with someone GOOD—racial window-dressing and kowtowing to groups who aren’t going to change their minds anyway is suicidal.

This is the sad fallout of affirmative action—Blackwell may be a good guy for the job, but the big reason he’s being touted is so we can replace Steele (whom I knew was worthless before he took over the GOP) with another black-so I’m leery about the whole thing now.

We don’t have time to waste like that-we need someone good-if blacks in the GOP don’t like it—TS. And as for anyone outside the party-who gives a damn what they think? Anyone childlike enough to make race their first priority in selecting a leader is someone we’re better off without.
