Surely you could even name a few things Reagan did as Governor, and as President, that didn’t turn out well.
It’s the nature of the beast.
Our political discourse has become way too much of a “gotcha” game, which is playing right into the hands of the democrats this year, as their candidates universally have LESS experience, which means LESS of a record to use to “get” them.
I suppose someone will say I “maligned” Reagan now. I certainly don’t think making mistakes makes someone less of a great leader.
BTW, my comment was really a general statement. We should look into these things, and some things would rise beyond the typical errors or unlucky results. I am not expressing an opinion about the specific charges in this case, as I am not a Huckabee supporter.

In fact I would say that WRT immigration, “executive experience” in these times is likely to be a corrupting influence.
