Are The Democrats Really For Black People?

You saw Hillary Clinton playing the race card recently with her "congress is run like a plantation" line. Then of course she had to play to the gullible black people by trying to sound black and saying "you know what I'm talking about". Are we going to hold Democrats accountable or just keep saying "yes sir boss' like the "Ketchup Black Caucus"? When is a black person going to ask Hillary why her husband sat by and let nearly a million Rwandans be slaughtered during his two terms in office? Or why didn't he have powerful blacks in his cabinet like Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell? At Corretta King's funeral Jimmy Carter talked about the government spying on Dr. King. Well why didn't somebody ask Ted Kennedy why his brother Robert authorized the spying on Dr. King being that he was the Attorney General at the time? Blacks blindly trust the Democrats so much so that they take the black vote for granted.

What is the number one goal of every politcal party? I'll answer it for you, to get elected, then get elected again, then again and again, etc. DEMOCRATS AREN'T IN LOVE WITH BLACK PEOPLE THEY'RE IN LOVE WITH BLACK VOTES. It's a shame that the "slave mentality" makes black people worship Democrats and get played like suckers.

Usually the people who vote for a politcal party do so because that party represents their interests? Usually when that party stops representing the interests of that voting group, they stop voting for that political party. But it's the responsibility of the voting group to hold the political party to account for their actions. That's the way the Jewish voters, Roman Catholic voters, Hispanic voters, feminists voters, and Italian voters treat politicians. They know the politicians are only interested in their votes.

On the other hand if a political party is going to get the votes of a group regardless of the party's actions then the party will be tempted to disregard representing the interests of that voting group. This is what has happened in the relationship between the black community and the Democratic Party. I know you've heard of the expression the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Blacks haven't squeaked politically in decades and that's why the Democratic Party takes the black vote for granted.

The Dems know that all they have to do near the election, is go into a black church, pull out the race card and talk about how the Republicans are racists. Then they try to talk like a black preacher while doing this. Remember Al Gore and John Kerry, they both sounded ridiculous, especially Al Gore. But this shows you how these Democrats have no regard or respect for the intelligence of black people. They know if they can have Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton sit up on the pulpit in back of them, then "the black puppet voting block" will obediently follow behind.

So I ask you can the black community blindly trust the Democratic Party? Are the best interests of the Democratic Party the same best interests of the black community? Are the Democrats wiiling to put our interests before their own? Do they want to see the black family become a two-parent institution again? Do they want to see black families exiting the welfare rolls by the multiplied thousands? Do they want to see more and more black families being empowered financially so that they can buy their own home, move into the middle class and exit the ghetto? How would they feel about blacks succeeding in education, business and politics without the help of set asides and affirmative action? Would they be pleased to see the black population become more financially independent to the point where they might become politically independent? Which party is jeopardized by black success?

There's no question which party's future is threatened by black success and independence. It is definitely the Democrats. They know if 30% of the black vote goes to the Republican Party, then their party would be unable to ever win a national election. That's the reason they lose their minds when they see a successful independent-minded black conservative. The fear in their hearts make them revert to "Aunt Jemima" slurs at black Republican U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, "Uncle Tom" charges at Ohio's black Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Blackwell, or "oreo" taunts at Maryland's black Republican Senatorial candidate Michael Steele. The sight of self-confident independent minded blacks frightens them to no ends. In the face of these self assured black Americans they see the demise of their party.

It is a fact that most blacks don't the trust the Repubilcans. But can they trust Democrats? Can they trust a party who's existence is predicated on blacks staying dependent upon government programs? Can they trust a party whose existence is threatened by black success and independence? Can they trust the Democrats to abandon the interests of their party and try to assist the true financial empowerment and independence of black Americans? Surely part of that move to financial empowerment for the black population would involve moving more and more blacks into employment and off the welfare rolls.

For their own self-interests, the Democrats fought the Republicans when the GOP initiated and supported welfare reform, which would work towards getting blacks off welfare and into the workforce. The Congressional Black Caucus who also seem to only care about themselves, walked lock-step with the Dems and also fought against welfare reform. Surely it's not in the best interests of black Americans to have black youngsters growing up seeing no one from the family get up in the morning and go to work. Children don't neccesarily do what you say but they will do what you do. Welfare reform changes the role models for millions of black youngsters by forcing their mothers to get up in the morning and go to work. Welfare reform stops the children from forming a "welfare mentality". Why would a political party be against destroying a "welfare mentality"? Political parties fight for their own interests and sometimes those interests aren't in common with their voters. .

Many members of the Congressional Black Caucus are either gullible or dishonest. Why would they fight against something that's in the long-term best interests of black people? You can clearly see in this instance that the Democratic Party takes black votes for granted.

The drop-out rates for black high school students in many inner city commuinities of our nation has sky-rocketed to over 50%. It's obvious that these urban schools are doing the job. Many black parents whose children go to these failing schools are eager to send their children to other better performing schools. But the Democratic Party and the Congressional Black Caucus are totally against setting up a voucher system, which would allow these youngsters to go to other schools and have their tuition picked up by the government. The reason the Dems are against vouchers is because one of their most powerful special interests groups are the teacher's unions. Many times the interests of black students goes directly against the interests of these teacher's unions. So who do the Dems side with? They side with the teacher's unions who supply the party with money and votes. They take the votes of these students' parents for granted.

The Social Security system cheats black Americans out of millions of dollars of benefits yet the Democratic Party fights against any change to the system. The reason the system cheats blacks is because of the fact that the life expectancy of blacks is shorter than whites. The both pay into the system but blacks die earlier and whites live longer and recieve more of the benefits. So black Americans contribute to the Social Security system yet die earlier and are unable to pass their benefits onto their chidren. If the system were partially privitized, the benefits of black Americans could be passed down to their relatives and the black community would benefit more from paying into the system.

The Dems refused to even discuss Social Security reform because it would allow poor blacks the opportunity to own something. That would give them a taste of ownership and let them experience being an investor. This experience alone would benefit blacks because it would allow them to pass that investor mentality down to the next generation. Those gullible lackies in the Congressional Black Caucus followed along with the Dems and fool blacks into voting against the own interests.

Does it make any sense that blacks who live in the areas of the country with the highest crime rates should vote for people who are sympathetic to criminals? Again the Democrats fool black people and their gullible leadership into siding with their special interests groups like the lawyers groups and the American Civil Liberties Union who are mainly white people who have the means to stay away from high crime areas. They take the black votes for granted and rely upon the "Uncle Toms" in the Congressional Black Caucus and the Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons to secure the black vote. Usually playing the race card and calling the Republican Party racists does the trick.

The majority of blacks are against abortion and gay marriage yet the Democratic Party support both abortion on demand and gay marriage. Does it make any sense that we would be committed to a party who wants to take faith and religious expression out of the public sqare. For generations black America has leaned upon it's churches for support and leadership. Martin Luther King Jr. was a minister. In fact most black leaders have always been ministers, yet the Democratic Party continuously supports a philosophy which tries to silence voices of faith. Democratic Party chairman Howard Dean has said repeatedly that a person should seperate their religious faith and their public service. Dr. King said you can't seperate the two.

Blacks are always talking about racists in the Republican Party, what about the Democratic Party. The longest serviing Democratic Senator is Robert Byrd of West Virginia who used to be a Grand Wizard of the KKK. He even went on a television interview in 2001 on Fox News Sunday and used the word "nigger" a number of times. Should black Americans trust a party who supports people like Robert Byrd?

There were three people who vigorously opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act and they were Al Gore Sr. who is the father of former Democratic Vice-President Al Gore; J. William Fulbright, who was the mentor to former Democratic President Bill Clinton; and current Democratic Senator, Robert Byrd who fillibustered for 14 straight hours to avoid the vote on the Civil Rights Act. I know it was a Democratic President John F. Kennedy who brought forth the Civil Rights Act and Democrat Lyndon Johnson who signed it into law.

But it was the Republicans who had been fighting for Civil Rights legislation since the 1860's. Don't ignore the fact that Fredirick Douglass, Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Jackie Robinson, A. Phillip Randolph, Booker T. Washington, G. Washington Carver, Mary McCleod Bethune and Martin Luther King Jr. were all Republicans. In fact the Republican Party was formed in the mid 1800's for one main purpose and that was to end slavery.

My argument is that blacks shouldn't blindly put all their trust in either party. They should think about their own interests rather than following black leaders and Democrats who really could care less what happens to black people as long as they get their votes.

Democrats hate black people with a virulence that is unprecedented. Democrats absolutely think they are so superior to black people and thats why they treat them like they do.

After listening to some of the comments by Black leaders at their conference in Houston, I don't think Blacks are for Blacks.

I wish that more black people would read. I think that is why we are still enslaved to the democratic party. And we definitely do not learn about these thing in history class. What my generation needs is a new black leader to bring the issues and atrocities to the light. Black need to be educated not pacified with appearences of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who are nothing more that shiners.
