Britney Spears has been pulling out all the stops, and the wine, in an attempt to woo back ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, if tabloid reports are to be believed.
According to The Sun, Britney turned up unannounced at Justin's LA pad, claiming she was there to collect some of her possessions. After Justin invited the pop damsel in, says the newspaper, she launched a conserted effort to get inside Timberlake’s boyband boxers, sitting him down to show him some newly-developed photos of the two of them together, and insisting they drink a bottle of wine she had in her bag "for old times sake".
"It was pretty clear Britney wanted to get back with him," a friend of Justin’s is quoted as saying. "He was so gutted about the split but this visit came completely out of the blue. Britney wore sunglasses and a hat and a very sexy outfit that showed off every curve of her body.
"Pretty soon she was talking about all the romantic times they had spent together. She was constantly telling Justin what a wonderful person he is," the friend continued. "She told him she still loves him and admitted she didn’t know what to do without him in her life."
According to Justin’s big-mouthed buddy, the situation then got a bit emotional as Britney got all 'Fatal Attraction' on his ass. "Then Britney got upset and dashed out of the room," said Timber-mate, "she returned ten minutes later wearing one of Justin’s shirts.
"She said she just wanted to smell him and the shirt reminded her of all the times they had made love. Justin said by now he thought it was getting a bit weird."
Britney is then said to have dived-in all for a bit of tonsil tennis, but Justin apparently stopped her mid-lunge. The 'N Sync member turned solo star is rumoured to be dating 'Charmed' star Alyssa Milano, and isn't interested in getting back together with Britney.
"Justin is positive Britney is his past not his future," said the pal. "It looks like she needs some convincing though. She left in tears." Poor luv.
