It has happened again, a once promising Republican House Speaker has turned into a “Deep State” operative. Yes, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), has followed in the footsteps of former Republican House Speakers John Boehner, Paul Ryan, and Kevin McCarthy.

it doesn’t rest totally on him - the firebrands who brought down McCarthy without a plan can see the results: a shrinking R presencein the House, now at a majority of one; increased spending and the US deeper in debt and mired in war. own it, supporters. this was a debacle led and followed by hotheads.

I used this same line from The Who in here the day Mike Johnson became speaker and was attacked for it. I knew Mike Johnson was no different than McCarthy by simply watching the democrats’ reaction to his promotion.

Had Mike Johnson been a real conservative willing to fight for the USA and the issues we believe in, the democrats would have melted down. Sure, they voted against him and mouthed some words in disapproval but, they didn’t melt down. We all know what it’s like when the democrats hate someone we vote for or nominate. We’re seen them many times before.

Important to understand.
ONLY AT THE PRECIPICE [moment of destruction] WILL PEOPLE FIND THE WILL TO CHANGE.

The Republican Party has largely become nothing more than a modern Trojan horse.

They could have picked a Republican representative’s name from out of a hat filled with names and the US would probably have gotten a better leader.

I very much mind the resignations in the face of possible total Democratic control of the US government.

Our service people risked their lives in Afghanistan and Vietnam. Tens of thousands lost their lives.

To fight communism and tyranny in DC only requires a few votes.

Ladies and Gentlemen RINOS:

You may be closet Marxists, but you need to fight these likely future tyrants or you and your offspring will pay dearly.

You got fooled into believing that the problem was McCarthy and Johnson rather than the composition of the House.

Instead of staging a rule-or-ruin war over the speakership and attacking accomplished Republicans like DeSantis and Kemp, MAGA Republicans should be attacking Democrats — and getting whatever we can get out of Johnson on other issues. There are LOTS of other issues.

It is not any use to replace him. There is no Representative that can withstand the threat that a new Speaker will receive for the FBI to “find” child porn on his cell phone or home computer. Placing such files on a device is the easiest thing in the world. Defying that threat would just get the Speaker arrested and jailed and convicted of possessing child porn and render him unelectable and ineffective if he were not convicted. The Congress is entirely at the the whim of the PTB.

Brings to mind a couple of questions:
1. What does the left have on Johnson? and
2. How much $$$ is he getting?

Good observation. One reason Democrats rule is because they don’t do circular firing squads.

The other reason is they infiltrated the Republican Party with phony Conservatives.
