Yes, parochial schools still beleive in respect, right and wrong and discipline. Pay isn't as high but student SAT test scores are significantly higher than public schools.

With Christian values.
When I was living in Goldsboro, NC, the local high school put ALL White students in the gifted classroom.
Why?
Because White students could not survive in the ALL Black student body. They would be beaten daily.
I used savings to pay for my son to attend a private Christian school. It was an outstanding school and safe, too. No assaults ever. School uniforms and looked like a ‘50’s school. It was great.
Local Catholic school was booked solid and it would be years before a slot opened up.

My wife just did this. She taught for 35 years in public schools and had enough. She semi-retired and now teaches at a parochial school part time. The pay is terrible but the students are well behaved and she doesn’t have the the behavioral/discipline problems she encountered in public schools.
