Those rascally teens.
“But he warned students that they face the same consequences for attacking teachers as they would for assaulting police officers.”
Getting mag-dumped? I’m down with that dog, fo’ shizzle.
Is it them again Boo Boo?
My daughter just graduated and got her teaching degree and license... these stories scare the crap out of me knowing she is now job hunting...
Tell her to get a job at a parochial school.
But he warned students that they face the same consequences for attacking teachers as they would for assaulting police officers.
That’s contradictory. Assaulting a law enforcement officer is a felony, so in this very instance the student is not facing any real consequence. Also, I thought using the N-word is a capital offense.
“Also, I thought using the N-word is a capital offense. “
Only if it’s it said by a not black person to a black person.
Black people can say to other blacks and non blacks and that is okay. In their book that is.
My son would have jumped up, headlocked that cretin after the first strike, and mudstomped him into next week.
When students were disrespectful to teachers, he threatened them. Given his size, all of them backed down. One teacher called to advise that while he appreciated my son standing up for him, the unruly student was now afraid to come to his class.
My son was only unkind to one teacher, a woke joke with a slanted view of world history. Mistake...my son was an avid reader of history and knew dates, places, events, and circumstances by memory. When she veered into woke territory, he would raise his hand, wait to be called on, and then refute her with facts. It got so bad that by the middle of the semester, students would turn in their chairs to see if he disagreed with the teacher before taking any notes.
According to a friend on staff, she got upset in the teacher’s lounge because my son had more credibility in the class than she did. When the other teachers heard my son’s name, they laughed. “Forget it, you won’t win.”
He was always polite but he was not going to give her an inch.
a generation of sociopaths.
It appears to possibly be a trans teacher. Not that it’s an excuse to ever assault someone. Just makes ot a tiny bit more complicated. There seem to be a lot of people putting their hands on strangers these days. God help the hospital-bound mofo thst tries that on me.
Arrest and treat medievally.
Put him in gen pop with bubba, tell bubba beforehand that the kid thinks he’s tough.
Let Darwin sort him out.
Yep, it’s them again, Yogi...
In my day this wouldn’t have happened ,but if it did, that punk would had his ass kicked right there. It is something how the class just lets this POS get away with this. Nobody speaks up in her defense. Everyone in that class should be ashamed .
Pay too low…there are some excellent public schools
….
The headline says he slapped her, but the article says he punched her in the face.
If that is a trans teacher she has taken a lot of female hormones to do something to her voice because she sounds like a middle age woman.
My response would be that I would never help this student for any reason for the rest of his career at the high school, no matter how much he might need it.
>> these stories scare the crap out of me
Plenty of districts where such BS is not tolerated
Tell her to be very mercenary about looking for work. Good schools need good teachers and she deserves to be at one and they deserve her. Students by the time they reach Jr High are beyond any ability to affect their character to become better people, so there is no hope from them if they come from bad backgrounds. A year or two lost in income is worth it to end up at a school you can do your job at without worrying about being beaten by an unruly student.
