ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!
(((PING!)))
... to be added to the best Zeeper-provided entertainment since Paul Shanklin parodies, ping me bro.
War isn’t a pillow fight. America itself has been know to kill people at weddings with drones.
The Nazis were launching V-2 rockets from the apartment complex thus making it a military target.
Putin might have learned it from US bombers during WW2.
War ain’t fair, never was, never will be.
Putin - "Hero of the Soviet Union"
The IRA was notorious for timing bombs about 30 minutes apart in close proximity in order to target EMS and LE responders.
I Google’d the author, Iona Cleav
Unfortunately to Putin nothing is off the table when it comes to cruelty and murder.
Putin combines the worst aspects of the Tsar and the Soviet’s regimes and we are seeing things like this from Russia today.
Lets see - observations form 2 years of Russia/Ukraine war:
1 - Putin/Russia still fight like WW2: bomb/shell cities and towns to rubble then call it “liberated”.
2- Target civilians and infrastructure, even ignoring military targets for the terror effect.
3- Putin sent Neo-Nazis to clean up “Ukrainian Nazis”
4- Russia throws nothing away. Unlike the West (and especially the USA) - Russia doesn’t rush as much to design and build brand new weapons - and when they do, they mothball their old for future use. So - while Russia has put a few of their limited supply of “latest and greatest” weapons to use - they have also been using artillery shells that are literally from late WW2 and Korea vintage, tanks from 1950. While they may lack the technology, a thousand functional 50 year old tanks is still a formidable force.
5- Putin/Russia don’t mind tossing bodies into the fire. The often disputed “rushed, ill-trained, and poorly-armed conscripts” is actually more true than anyone on any side likes to think about. When you send hundreds, even thousands EVERY DAY to the exact same path to the same city where Ukrainian artillery has it zeroed in - and wave after wave gets obliterated - in hopes that you can squeeze through a few and/or exhaust the Ukrainian ammunition supplies (which actually was effective)... losing thousands of human pawns in the process...
It just goes to show the vast difference between Russian/Putin war fighting strategy and the supposedly more sanitized and detached Western theory of war. And it seems Russia has caught on to the drone battle concept as well- employing them in insane numbers. Ukraine is probably better at it - but doesn’t have the numbers that Russia does.
As a great American general once said; “War is Hell!.” It has never been anything but. There are no war crimes—because war is a crime. The only crime in war is losing.
This is terrorism.
You don’t truly condone killing firefighters and ambulance drivers, do you?
