If you can see any of the sun's disk, even 1%, you need to wear approved (ISO certified) eclipse glasses or use a #14 welders glass.

So, my paper 3-D glasses will be sufficient, right?

NO, you will damage your eyes! 3D glasses are NOT safe for viewing an eclipse.

You can take a mirror and reflect it onto the side of a building. Works pretty well.
