I take exception to that statement. They think people are buying firearms illegally in order to be prepared? It’s not that hard to have guns legally in most places, we did even in California.

That will probably happen when the government can’t afford to give the illegals all the free stuff they where promised.
And IMHO, not a very good one.
I can’t imagine how they gathered statistics accurate to three significant figures. Answering a survey or responding to a knock on the door violates the very first rule of prepping.
And yet, no matter who wins, it looks like it will be.
If Trump wins, expect 2020 type behavior by the left on steroids.
If the democrats *win*, they will finish destroying this country and it will be every man for himself.

If TSHTF that “black urban farmer” is going to have 10 of her formerly friendly Neighbors at the door demanding their fair share.
And salt.
Salt is absolutely essential for survival and yet I rarely see it mentioned in prepping supplies.
And quality footwear. Seldom mentioned.

Just be mindful of the size/power of the panels versus the capacity of the battery matched to your ESSENTIAL electric needs.
The panels for the out of the box Patriot solar battery are kinds small.
Even saying all that, it’s better to have that than have nothing.
True. And same for cold weather clothing especially in northern climates.
They also don’t mention alternative heat sources like wood stoves. I realize that’s not an option for many people, but come Jan and Feb in the north.........
