“Amy Schumer... Comedy so funny everyone forgets to laugh.”

In the tradition of Wanda Sikes and George Lopez.

“Ok, I stand corrected! I can’t even imagine going for 2 hours in one of those!”

I can’t stand 2 minutes. Thank heavens there are open/stand up MRIs in my area.

I’ve heard of those. I’ve never been in one.

The "tech" took three attempts to plant the IV for the contrast. That was the worst part. It was 45 minutes in the tube. I learned after the procedure ended that the machine has sensors to try to time breathing. The techs failed to mention that. They got a "live" demo of apnea and hypopnea. I just snoozed through the noise, but my breathing was sometimes too shallow for the detectors. Hopefully that didn't negatively impact the data collection. The helium pump had a very constant thump, thump, thump from the ceiling. Lots of "take a deep breath, exhale, take a deep breath and hold" followed by lots of pulsing noises of various frequencies. One of the samples was reaching my limit of oxygen (I'm stage 3 iron deficiency anemia). All done now. The IV sites bled like a stuck pig.

Topped off with a nice pint of Wallace Irish Light Red Ale and a gluten free "Good Ol' Boy" pizza at McKenzie River Pizza.
