Sarcasm I know but.... But my ex's boss, an MD from Argentina and living and working in the US, when her son was diagnosed with a brain tumor, sent him for treatment in Cuba ... because of their superior health care system. He was dead within one year. Now I don't know the specifics of his case and maybe he was terminal anyway. But if he were my son there is no way in hell I would send him to Cuba for treatment.
I think it was one of the Michael Moore documentaries that touted the superiority of the Cuban healthcare system. It was total fiction. Sorry to hear about the boy and how his father fell for that lie. We have a great healthcare system here, if Government would stop meddling. I owe my life to that healthcare system.
