This could be a game breaker and send Utah back to being a Red State again.

Hopefully, these two Honduran mules got their free stuff, a diaper change and RAT voter registration forms and a stack of ballots before they were arrested although being a foreign freeloader with an arrest record is the quickest way for miggies to get their “caravan” asses on the Dung Beetle Party’s “path to U.S. citizenship.”

If I was a cop involved in this case I’m afraid that my service weapon would have misfired into the heads of each of the wetbacks involved.

The article eventually says the mules were in the US illegally, but does not give details. I’d like to see when they arrived, precisely where, what sort of “processing” they received, what sort of aid they received both getting to the US and while in the US, etc.

The real criminals here are the politicians who gamed the rules so Honduran nationals could come to the U.S. with impunity to sell narcotics.

6 months in prison on first offense would get rid of the drug problem. Users.

Would congress go that far?

The illicit drug trade is the major reason why will still have cash and are not forced into digital currency.
If the government wanted to eliminate cash and force everyone into digital currency they would have to legalize drugs.
Then, large corporations under strict federal control would take over the business. All the small players using cash would be driven out via competition and regulation.
That said, prohibition will not eliminate or significantly reduce drug use. We only need to look at the failed experiment with alcohol prohibition.

50,000 fentanyl pills & $45k sounds like a care package for San Francisco.
