The problem with the third party option is logistics.

RFK Jr. is currently learning that the hard way.

As a practical matter there are only two third parties “ready for prime time” with ballot access available in almost all states.

They are the Green Party and the Libertarian Party.

If she can’t get the presidential nomination of either of them she won’t be running for dog catcher in her home town.

Ross Perot got ballot access in all 50 states in 1992 and 1996. So did George Wallace in 1968. Both men started parties from scratch rather than attempt to win a major party nomination. The access laws may have changed since then.

Agreed. But I thought the No Labels party was already on the ballot in 27 states? Is it inconceivable they couldn’t add the majority of the rest of the country, concentrating on the Electoral College numbers and pull votes from both sides?

Unless she honestly thinks Trump is going to stumble, why stay in? She’s committing political suicide. There is no upside to her candidacy and as long as she’s running, she forces the media to cover Trump.

Don’t understand the logic.
