I dunno. Even in Texas not sure about this one.
Will see.
Chased the vehicle down - not going to end well for the homeowner.
“[Sheriff] said the homeowner feared for his own safety and fired his own gun at the suspect”
Got the script down. The BBQ pit owner will be fine.

I’m in the same camp as you here. As the old saying goes, a lawyer is attached to every bullet. If there is no doubt as to your claim of self-defense, you’ll probably be okay.
But if there is doubt - or if the DA happens to be a liberal - then be prepared to shell out the big bucks. And good luck to you. Sad, but that’s reality.
It’s probably OK in most of Texas. Harris County probably not. There’s a reason they moved Paxton’s trial from McKinney to Houston.
Interesting DA election down there, however. Soros put Ogg into office, but now he’s backing a more radical democrat against her this time around.
Mess with a man’s BBQ equipment and you might as well mess with his daughter - both will put him into a rage aimed directly at you!
Will probably get a no-bill for stealing a man's barbecue pit. How low can you go?
Confirming that Barbecue is serious business in Texas.
