Can you just imagine the scrambling going on right now. Betcha grocery store shelves are empty, or very close to it.
This will be fun to watch; I hate that damn city.
The suburbs better be ready.
It’s not going to be pretty with people flooding out of NYC looking for food.
Most of the truckers supporting the strike weren’t going into New York anyway.
Still, there’s a lot of people, especially city dwellers, who don’t have a clue how thin their supply lines are. They should have noticed during the pandemic, but I think the pandemic and all those delivery apps have made them even stupider.
If it’s a successful strike, it will only harden their hearts against Trump and firm up their belief that his potential election would bring on a dictatorship.
It will be a ghost ton by Friday as the rats move to their parents basements

You’re right. You can’t take a Peterbilt and 53’ trailer through the city streets. But they do deliver to warehouses near the city for delivery by smaller trucks. They can still strangle the city.
Are the truckers ready for that?
My dad was born and raised in NYC. He returned shortly after WW2 and left six months later and never returned. He said it was the best decision he ever made.
If Deep State tries that, then I suggest we start an Adopt-A-Trucker program, providing whatever support those truckers need.
I wouldn’t mind seeing NYC falling into the Atlantic.

If this boycott includes fuel oil trucks.... NYC is going to freeze. Electric heater sales will go up.
AOC ran off Amazon from New York. These ideological politicians don’t care about, or understand the importance of business to their state.

And they just won’t deliver there, that is not blocking streets.

You can’t force people to do something they don’t want to do, if they have violated no laws. We have this 13th amendment that forbids slavery.
I don’t think refusing to deliver goods to one metropolitan
militarily insignificant area constitutes a national security issue.
Most fresh meat and produce for NYC is delivered to the Hunts Point Terminal in the South Bronx. There are plenty of Peterbilts pulling 53-foot trailers into there all hours of the day and night.
