I don’t know the circumstances of his donation. He may have donated to the part of the organization not dedicated to bringing down the United States. But does he not realize that, if the US goes down, that there is nowhere for him to go if the US goes down?

Money is fungible.

When you give $10 to an addict and demand that he not use it to feed his addiction, he can honestly accede to your demand - and simply now use the other $10 he got from elsewhere, and that he was going to use for food, to feed his habit.
