It was a grand thing. I am one of those people-my wife laughs at me, when we are outside in the yard or pretty much anywhere, if I hear a plane or helicopter, I have to look...:)
I am an aviation nut, no doubt...and it was nice to see that you apparently don’t grow out of it...
Same here. Grew up in a remote training ground area with all the air activity. Been buzzed a lot as a random target or “scare run” growing up. I have had exhaust blow my hat off from a low run. So yep, always look! lol
But Dad was in the AF and took us to the air shows at Edwards AFB every year. As a kid I fell in love with flight and became obsessed with the physics and dynamics of flight and have been ever since. :)
