As a kid growing up in the 50s, I was a major 49er fan.

This continued until the niners became pros at giving away leads in the scores.

Now, this Cali native (and once and former Citizen of Cali) is never, ever for a Cali team, especially the once-great niners from the once-pleasant and safe "Frisco" (Friscans just HATE it when we call Frisco "Frisco".)

I was for Detroit in this game, but in the second half, they gave up. Dropped passes, missed tackles, didn't they want it? Oh, well, they came an historically long way for the team, so there's that.
