I’m glad we have a study that tells us what most people have known for many years. You have more restful sleep if all the alcohol in your system is completely processed before going to sleep.
No, that would be stupid, booze does not get you going it slows you down, so just coffee in the morning.
I don’t drink alcoholic beverages as a rule anyway, but yeah, even when I tried that it never worked for me. Made sleeping even harder.
So all that shame about drinking in the morning was actually misplaced.

Exactly my experience. Sober 4 years now.
A friend of mine was becoming an alcoholic just in order to sleep, seems only alcohol was getting him more than 2 hr/night. He tried lots of otc stuff, none helped. Solution turned out to be 1 indica mj gummie before bed - now he sleeps 8hrs/night. So I tried them too. I do sleep much more deeply but still avg 7hrs same as before, never felt I needed more sleep but deeper sleep better too.
There are those who prefer rum sleep to REM sleep.
The only time I drink is with a wee dram in my coffee first thing in the morning if its cold , during the winter only.
The Scots did that for a thousand years, only straight, thats why the gaelic for whisky is “water of life.”
But we know why Joe and Hitlery always are so tired.

Looking for something to help sleep; otc stuff doesnât work for me either.

I have a great friend who has accomplished a similar outcome. Having watched from up close his 20ish years of alcoholism, the Grand Mal seizure that almost killed him (cops found him in the parking lot of his store at 2AM. The Grand Mal was a result of extreme withdrawal because he stopped cold) I am incredibly respectful of what he has done. My sincere and respectful congratulations to you.

Yes, but it has no THC, the part that gets you high. My next- door neighbor is in the biz, I think I’m going to try it.

Where can I buy the product from a reputable business? I googled it and didnât get a hit for indica gummie without THC. They all had some amount of THC
