Taylor Swift, Jerrod Carmichael, Cara Delevingne and a shirtless Jason Kelce were in good company on Sunday.
CBS‘ broadcast of the NFL Divisional Playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills averaged 39.3 million total viewers from 7 to 10 pm ET on Sunday evening.
The very close contest, which the Chiefs wound up winning by a score of 27-24, also averaged a 9.9 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
The total Chiefs/Bills audience cited above marks a 14% gain in viewership versus the comparable year-ago match-up between the Cowboys and 49ers (San Francisco bested Dallas 19-12), and a 9% increase in the demo.

Good game, but having it end with another wide right - I feel for Bills fans. Josh Allen may just have to go through his career facing the fact that while he may be close to the best at his position in the AFC, he will keep running into Pat Mahomes - the absolute best at his position in the league - every year in the playoffs.

I remember when they were doing the kneeling and some here were claiming the NFL was going to go broke. LOL. Bread and Circuses. People will put up with anything so long as they have their precious football games to watch.
Jason kelce upstaged her. He might be one of the few that could jump down among fans screaming for the Chiefs and not get belted by snowballs. Mahomes was trying to give a fan something and Bills Mafia pelted him.
Next Sunday’s games will be non-competitive, but when the Ravens finally play the Niners, that will be worth watching from a sports perspective.
