Something I like about Menards, at least the one here, is that they have a small grocery section in their store (canned and dry goods only, no green grocery!) Guys who have to make a building materials run can pick up things for dinner to take homee. (Also have a wall of cleaning products!)
My Mom likes to buy her Black Label BACON at Menard’s when it goes on sale, LOL!
Menard’s is great. I’ve never been disappointed shopping there. We’ve been buying all the Chicken Coop/Barn Remodel items there. (11% rebates!) The Garden Center is pretty good, too. I usually find a few things there, though they did have Roses last summer that were BADLY infested with Aphids. I mean, you could SEE them on EVERY plant! Yuck!
I told the Manager. It was the right thing to do. It was pretty awful. They were the nice ‘Knockout’ roses, too. :(
