Former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter has visited the Russian republic of Chechnya, offering its leader Ramzan Kadyrov and his fighters "friendship" with the United States.
Ritter, a former United Nations Special Commission weapons inspector, U.S. Marine Corps intelligence officer, and a convicted sex offender, made the remarks in an address during his visit to Chechnya's capital, Grozny.

A person of his stature would NOT be in Russia talking to leaders without Administration approval (or else he could be jailed), so it’s good to see some dialogue starting to take place!

Thanks to the Neocons, the number of significant people that Russia actually TRUSTS in the West is very limited, which is why no one in any position of power has the ability to be taken seriously by Russia...given that virtually EVERY ONE of them has flat-out lied to Russia in the past.
I doubt that anyone in the Biden administration approved of Ritter addressing Kadryov’s army en masse. Suspect he’s there on some speaking gig as part of a conference, as a alt-media reporter, fact finder, or something. His wife is Georgian so he is not unfamiliar with travel to that part of the world.
He’s so dead wrong on Israel and Gaza that I lost interest in reading his articles - though his military training and knowledge about the Russian military gave his analysis far more credibility than the shills promoting the Biden-Nuland policy agenda in Ukraine
