How would the firefighters even be able to walk in there?

How were the trees surrounding the home?
Reminds me of the Maui “fires” that incinerated anything with metal or glass.

That’s not a heater, it’s a smoker!

Paper burns at 451 Fahrenheit. I read that somewhere.

The heater it’s self was 1000 degrees, They do get extremely hot at the source it’s self before blowing it through the house. But it was probably only 130 or so in the whole house it’s self.

I’m really skeptical about this.

I think the 1000 degree thing is gross exaggeration, myself. Paper burns at less than half that, and many other materials that are found in the home are similar.

A wood stove gets up to a 1000 degrees as a heat source. I think they didn’t clarify very well that the air in the house was not 1000 degrees, just the heater it’s self.

1000°? What domestic device needs to be capable of a 1000°? I mean maybe the actual flame in a furnace or stovetop but really…

The heater (presumably they mean furnace) was 1000 degrees. The room as 120 after it had been opened. My furnace has a flue overheat sensor that would have shut it down long before it got that hot.

If it was full throttle and never cycled off it could reach that temp after awhile.
