KASH PATEL: Here’s How Secretary Of Defense Lloyd Austin Destroyed the National Command Authority
Gateway Pundit ^ | Kash Patel

Posted on 01/09/2024 8:05:30 AM PST by Tench_Coxe

There is only one national command authority.

The national command authority is the constitutionally mandated, congressionally required, DoD-directed unbroken chain of command from the president of the United States as our commander-in-chief to the secretary of Defense.

Our entire Department of Defense — the brave men and women in uniform, rely on this chain of command every single day to execute the no-fail mission of protecting this great nation. There is no greater national security priority than maintaining its authority, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Any SECDEF who is absent in his duties and fails to notify the chain of command has committed one of the most egregious acts against the national defense of this nation.

It begs some simple questions:

Who is in command of our military?
Who has their hands on the 'nuclear football?
How compromised is the military by influences foreign to the Constitution? (foreign or domestic)

I would ask the same regarding our national security apparati.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Les Aspin (SecDef during Clinton years)...had various health ailments and barely lasted a year.

A coup doesn’t have to have any shots fired. I suspect our silent coup started a decade ago including installing new government in appointee positions as well as using the shadow government edicts designed to be a failsafe in a catastrophic war and was turned into and inserted as a clandestine command and control. This all was finalized as Trump left office. May be one of the reasons they had to keep Flynn out of the cabinet under Trump. The question is, who really runs it? A leftist junta? Proxies for Chinese communists?

The herd need to feel like the pasture is safe and fertile, or they will flee. A silent coup is the best coup.

"May be one of the reasons they had to keep Flynn out of the cabinet under Trump."

Pence was a big factor there.

You may have a point about a "shadow government". I keep thinking back to William Burns going both to Ukraine and Israel (post October 7). If I were to surmise, whatever screwing around was going on in both those regions has gone so horribly bad that a 'principal' had to personally step in. And its still screwed up, imho.

Thing is, my experience has been that "design by committee" never works well.

The absence of any actual consequences for SecDef Austin makes me suspect that he wasn’t in the hospital. The hospital story is just cover for what he was actually doing...whatever that was.

Surgery was ‘elective’. Had to be gastro intestinal. He’s a big fella. That or a sex change.

Clown show.

The Chinese have to be watching stuff like this, and realizing that we probably won't be able to do anything to keep them from conquering Taiwan.

It was probably something embarrassing, hence the secrecy. While the sex change idea is simply silly, it could have been a bariatric procedure or liposuction. Or perhaps a scrotal tuck or hemorrhoid reduction. All are elective, and all could certainly have painful after-effects. But then there’s also the internet rumor that he was killed or severely injured in the Russians’ recent bombing of Kiev.

This is not about presidential succession

Its about issuing lawful orders for use of military force, and 2- man ( at least) control over nuclear employment

The entire fraudulent Biden administration has been, and is, a disaster for this nation from day 1.

Les Aspin ….democrat plant to gig a military they hated

However, He was never MIA or considered mentally incompetent of issuing orders for the use of military force to the services - as directed by the POTUS/CinC

Esp critical for a nuclear employment

Though Pelosi, the democrats, and traitors like Milley tried to screw with Trump’s constitutional authority by creating a “ decision by committee” to bypass or overrule POTUS. God only knows what wreckage remains in the C3 system from their legislative proposals…esp with a mentally incompetent sitting President ( Joe Biden) and an equally incompetent VP, Harris

Rush played a clip of Sec. Aspin explaining Clinton’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” military policy on his late nite tv show.

Hey, retarded author...

Secdef is not in the emergency, operational chain of command.
