Men who stole from Kohl’s ask for lesser charges because the items they took were on sale, DA says

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV/Gray News) – Defense attorneys for two men who stole items from a Kohl’s store in Colorado suggested their clients should face lesser charges because the items they took were on sale.

According to a news release Tuesday from the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, 50-year-old Michael Green and 37-year-old Byron Bolden were sentenced to jail after stealing from a Kohl’s store in Parker.

The DA’s office said Green and Bolden stole clothing and high-end KitchenAid appliances.

So if the sentence for theft was 90 days and the items were on sale for 40% off, does that mean they would only have to serve 54 days?

Leave it up to a defense attorney to try to twist things in their favor. Shockingly, the DA was not fooled by this chicanery.

If this crime had happened in my woke home King County (includes Seattle), the DA would probably have apologized for white supremacy, racism, and lack of equity and inclusion. Afterwards, the criminals would have been given money to cover the stuff they stole just so they would feel better. Oh, and they would have been allowed to keep the stuff! /s

They would also get time off for good behaviour.

But the store lost money two ways. First they lost the cost of the merchandise plus carrying costs. Secondly they lost the revenue from the sale. So the crooks should be charged with the total store loss.

In a logical, law-abiding society that would be true. However, the Demonrats and liberals have perverted those two values. And their non-thinking cultish followers do not question them, as they have abandoned any semblance of critical thinking skills.

So if the stolen stuff was on sale.......so should the jail days. Instead of 90 days, since they are on sale make it 120 days. You get 30% more time for the same low price.

And not worth damn. Clothes nowadays are so crappy and cheap, it’s no wonder people steal.

If they were part of the Rewards Program I would think they could get even more time off.

Why did I guess their race right off the bat?
One good thing about the invasion from Latinos, they will get rid of USA blacks.

So... if they murdered someone who was 70 years old would they say they should only do half the time as they would if they killed someone 35 years old? New math? New morals?

That’s because Dems and Libs do not work for a living, the get paid a salary. They have no bottom line responsibility nor any money at risk in a business.

So - if they killed a 45 year old who had cancer and might die within a few years, should they get reduced sentences?
