It used to be that if an unmarried man became a deacon, they couldn't get married. Has that changed?

While i5 wish him well I believe his mental status is in question and not actually inspiring confidence in advice, whether spiritually or secularly.

Being a deacon is a major commitment especially in today’s church where there a few deacons and few priest.
The work load can be enormous
