Everybody I’m with comes from the same place politically, no problem. I’ll have to call the liberal east coast uncle and ignore what he says, no big deal, I just talk about other things.

TDSers in my family were strangely silent this year. They probably didn’t want to deal with the raucous laughter they’d get if they opened their mouths. Even they know how terrible Bidet is.

That’s the key right there. I have some old-school Democrat relatives. They are good people, but they live in the past. They still think their party is the party of Truman and JFK. They can’t change me. I can’t change them. So at family gatherings I talk about other things.
Relative: I hope Biden is re-elected in 2024.
Me: Does anyone know anything about the new Ford Maverick? I’m looking for a good small truck.
